Great movie, great information!

The information in this movie is presented so clearly it’s hard to imagine wanting to eat animal products after seeing it.  Not a violent graphic movie at all, this simply follows the progress of Dr. Colin Campbell and Dr. Esselstyn as they independently discover through their medical practice and research the effects of animal products in the human body and on cancer, heart disease and other afflictions. They make very clear connections to societies that eat animal products and the diseases they die from.

The information is really no surprise, what is surprising is all the medical professionals that deny the evidence and continue to encourage eating animal products. There is no reason in this day and age, with all our knowledge, and even faux meats, that anyone should eat animals except for the greed of the large animal agricultures lobbies that continue to fight for their spot on the Pyramid and in every product of our lives.  Yes -I know there are small farmers that their only livelihood is farming – that is another discussion, but I have no desire to put anyone out of work, there is plenty of work, it just needs to be redirected.

Several case studies are shown in the film with diseases such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, dandruff, insomnia, erectile dysfunction – all that are reversed or halted with a simple change to a strictly whole food plant-based diet.  That easy.  People off their meds, no radiation or chemotherapy. Just go to the market, learn how to cook grains and produce, eat well and live well.

Why are our illnesses reversed with a plant based diet?  Because our bodies were never meant to process animal products at all, at least that’s the judgment I make.  Lets see what you glean from this information:

Look at the shape of your hands – they are clearly
‘designed’ to eat fruit, etc. and not kill or skin an
animal to eat its flesh. Our nails are not shaped like
claws, and are not strong, but they are designed to
skin an orange. It is obvious that flesh usually needs
cooking before humans ingest it, and cooking is not
a ‘natural’ thing to do. Flesh is NOT easily assimilated into our bodies.

Once we start eating our ‘natural’ food source, rather
than unnaturally eating flesh, we start to turn up our
noses at the smell. An orange is a pleasing emotional
smell. Rotting carcasses are NOT nice to our emotions.
Another clue to the ‘ natural design’ of our bodies.

Fruit and vegetables are emotionally more pleasing to our eyes.

We do not like to hear an animal scream – it affects us
emotionally again. We may even prefer the sound of an apple being crunched.

Okay – too basic?  I have more for you, just thought I’d make it a short post but guess not, here we go, and I have to give all credit to  but you can find this information anywhere on the internet, just google herbivore:

Why do you suppose so many people are Lactose intolerant?  Because we don’t come ready to process it.

There is so much more, but I’ll stop here for now.

Think for yourself, don’t buy into the ads.
